At times, Windows Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution identifies external monitors incorrectly. - i.e. "2" is actually controlled by what is identified by "3" and vice-versa. This appears to be a Windows nit. It can occur using a Targus Universal Docking Station or using other multi monitor solutions including an external graphics card, see http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-cards/146858-monitor-ids-all-wrong-2-pc-monitor-1-tv.html .
