Will My Laptop Fit In Your Backpacks?
Our laptop bags come in a range of sizes to fit laptops from 12” to 17”, with many models accommodating a range of sizes due to their multi-fit cradle. We offer the greatest variety of bags to fit 15” and 16” laptops. Please note that these measurements are based on your laptop’s screen size.

Can I Carry My Tablet In Your Backpacks As Well?
Many of our laptops come with a dedicated tablet compartment to fit devices up to 12.9”. This prevents your tablet or laptop from becoming damaged in transit.

Are Your Laptop Bags Shockproof?
We’ve designed our laptops, bags, and cases to offer the ultimate in protection. For example, many of our tablet cases feature military-grade drop protection, while many laptop bags feature SafePort® Air System high-density foam padding and DOME Shock Dispersion foam to protect your device’s screen. The SafePort® patented air protection system is an adjustable air cushion that keeps your laptop secure and suspended during severe drops, while our DOME Shock Dispersion provides five times more protection for your laptop screen and distributes excess pressure away from your device on contact. Remember to always transport and store your Targus laptop bags with care to avoid unintentional damage to the bag or your laptop.

How Do Checkpoint-Friendly Laptop Bags Work?
Our patented checkpoint-friendly backpacks provides separate compartments for laptops and accessories and folds out flat when opened. This allows the entire bag to go through the X-ray machine at TSA checkpoints without the laptop needing to be removed. Benefits include:

  • Shorter amounts of time spent going through the checkpoint
  • A lower probability that your laptop could be scratched or damaged
  • Less chance of having your laptop stolen or leaving it behind.

What Are the Strongest Cases for Tablet Devices?

Which Docking Station Has the Most USB Ports?
Many docking stations have more than three USB ports and can accommodate standards like USB-C and USB-A 2.0 and 3.0. Our USB docking stations come with up to five USB ports.

Can I Use My Docking Station to Charge My Laptop?
You can charge your laptop and peripherals with a power delivery docking station.

Which Docking Stations Can Be Used as a Laptop Stand?
Any docking station that lists “ergonomic wedge design” among its features can be used as a laptop stand. You can also observe the ridged texture on the top side of these models in the product photos.

Do You Have a Docking Station With a Displayport® Connection?

Which Brands Are Your Bags, Cases, and Accessories Compatible With?
Our laptop backpacks and bags are built to carry any laptop within a specific range of sizes. We also offer customized bags to hold Chromebooks, Dell laptops, and the Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Laptop sleeves and screen protectors are available for a number of MacBook Pro models.

We offer tablet cases to fit any iPad since the iPad ® 2, as well as specific models for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab S4.

Can I Use Your Docking Stations with Any Brand?
Our universal docking stations are compatible with Android™, Chrome OS, Linux, Mac OS®, and Windows® operating systems. You can refine your search by operating system on the left-hand side of the docking station page.

How Can I Find Accessories That Are Compatible with My Specific Device?
Go to our Accessory Finder tool and enter the name of your device. A drop-down menu will appear with supported models of that device. Select the model of your device from the menu to see compatible Power Accessories, Privacy Screens, and Cable Locks.

How Do I Know Which iPad I Have?
We have dedicated an entire page to helping you work out which model your iPad is, found here. When you look at the back of your iPad, you can see the model number together with the other information located at the bottom of the case. Use our handy reference table to look up the model number and determine which type and generation of iPad you have. Then, go to “Shop by Device” to find accessories that will fit your iPad.

Do I Have to Create an Account to Buy A Product?
We have an account system to serve you better. In your account, you are able to view your order history and manage your address details all in one place. To create an account, click on My Account and then select Create Account. If you’d prefer a quicker checkout process, you can complete your purchase without creating an account.

Shipping and Returns

Where Do You Ship?
If you purchase from the U.S. site, we only ship to addresses in the United States. To purchase Targus products in other countries, go to our international page and select your country.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

If you place an order before 12:00 p.m. PST, we will process your order same-day excluding weekends and company holidays. Orders typically ship within 1-3 business days from the time your order is received. All other orders will be processed the next business day. Delivery time depends on the shipping method selected at checkout. We offer overnight shipping as well as ground (standard), which can take 3-5 days. Ground shipping is free on orders over $69.99 .

How Can I Track My Order?
We ship our products via FedEx. When your order ships, you will receive an email containing a link to your order status and shipping information, including the tracking number. View specific details and additional shipping information here.

What Is Your Returns Policy?
You can request a return for your product within 30 days of the shipment date. Our team will review your request and may ask a couple questions to understand your reasons for returning and help you find the right product(s). You can learn more about our return policy here.

Targus Advantage Rewards

What is this?
This is our way of showing our appreciation. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like referrals and purchases. You can use them to earn discounts off purchases, so the more you collect the more you save. Learn more.

Who can join?
Anyone with an account is automatically enrolled.

How do I earn points?
You can earn points for all sorts of activities, including referring friends, and making purchases. To see all the ways you can earn points visit our Targus Advantage Rewards section.

How do I view my point balance?
When you sign in to your account you will see your point balance on every page on the top bar of the Targus Advantage Rewards pop-up.

How do I redeem my points?
Sign in to your account within the Targus Advantage Rewards pop-up, select the tab called Redeem Points. Here you’ll see all the rewards we offer. If you have enough points, you can redeem them for a reward.

Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?
No. Go ahead and earn as many as you can! Start earning points today.

What do the 'approved', 'pending' and 'cancelled' statuses mean?

  • Approved: These points can be redeemed on rewards immediately.
  • Pending: These points are need to be verified before you can redeem them. This typically applies to referrals and purchases. If you make a purchase, your points are earned and will be available for use thirty (30) days after the date of purchase.
  • Cancelled: These points will not be added to your account. For example, this will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to cancelled)

What happens if a friend I refer cancels or returns their order?
Your pending points will be cancelled and will be removed from your account.

Why did my account balance go down?
You, or someone you referred, cancelled or returned a purchase before meeting the thirty (30) day approval policy.

I completed an activity but didn't earn points!
It can sometimes take a few minutes for us to process your activity and provide your points.

Can I use my points during checkout?
Not directly - please redeem your points for a voucher which can then be applied during checkout.

How do I leave the program?
If you no longer wish to earn points, please contact us and ask to be unenrolled. We'll unenroll you and you will lose any points you have accrued.

What happens if I leave and decide to join again?
Just contact us and we'll re-enroll you. However, your point total will begin from zero.

Do You Offer a Warranty?
We offer a comprehensive Limited Lifetime Warranty on all of our laptop backpacks, bags, and tablet cases. This means that you’re covered for specific parts and types of damage, and for differing durations depending on the product type. We also offer time specific limited warranties on docking stations and tech accessories.

How Do I Register for a Warranty?
You don’t need to register for your warranty, however, you can register your product type to receive special offers and participate in customer appreciation programs. After purchasing a new Targus product, you can register your product here using the model or serial number.

How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?
U.S. buyers can submit a claim through our Ask a Question or Request Warranty tab located in the Customer Support section of our site. For international buyers, contact your nearest Targus office. If your product has a fault that is covered under our conditions of the warranty, we will give you a return label to ship the product and original receipt to us. You will need to cover the cost of returning the product. We will then review your product and replace the faulty parts or the entire product with the same or a similar product as available. We will ship the replacement item at no cost to you.

Where Can I Go If I Have a Question About My Product?
If you have a question about a docking station, a good place to start is by downloading the user manual for your product. Go to our Driver Support page, search by category, and then select your product to download the manual.

For general questions, you can go to our Online Answers page and enter your question in the search bar. To ask a question, you will need to create a special account for this and log in (separate from your purchasing account).
