LAS VEGAS – (CES® 2025 – The Venetian Exhibition Suite #35-106) – January 5, 2025 – Targus®, the number one third-party docking station and laptop case brand in the US1 and a leader in mobile computing accessories, will preview its new award-winning MiraLogic® Connect retrofit adapter and MiraLogic Workspace Intelligence System at CES 2025, January 7th-10th. A CES® 2025 Innovation Award Honoree in Sustainability, Eco-Design & Smart Energy, MiraLogic Connect is a novel retrofit adapter that upgrades mainstream Targus docks to IoT Smart Docks enabled for its MiraLogic platform. MiraLogic is a unique Workspace Intelligence System which gives IT teams the ability to efficiently analyze, control, and manage their workspace assets anywhere (e.g., power consumption, workspace utilization, and real-time occupancy) to achieve their sustainability goals more effectively while empowering employees to work productively from anywhere.

The MiraLogic Connect retrofit adapter sits between a Targus® docking station*, specifically DOCK182, DOCK192, DOCK310, and DOCK315, and host device, to incorporate the capabilities of the Targus MiraLogic Workspace Intelligence System into the dock. With this small adapter, Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates and management tasks can now be performed remotely and automatically through the MiraLogic platform, without needing to physically go to each dock to implement firmware updates. Remote dock reboots are also made possible with this retrofit adapter, reducing dock IT ticket resolution time with a remote on/off switch that fixes many issues. According to Targus enterprise user data, remote OTA firmware updates reduce an organization’s time spent on dock maintenance by more than 90%. Additionally, MiraLogic Connect provides asset management and reporting so that IT teams know what is connected to the dock with instant reports.
Extending MiraLogic’s sustainability benefits, the adapter and product packaging also use recycled materials. The housing has 75% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and the product comes in a recyclable brown box packaging and CPE-07 biodegradable bag which degrades faster than regular plastic once discarded.
MiraLogic Connect is slated for availability in March 2025 and will be sold for $99.99 SRP.
