The USB Promoter Group Announced USB4 Specification this week and our Targus DocKtor broke down his understanding. 

DisplayLink® announced v.9.0M1 for Windows is now available. Using this version of the software should work, but Targus has no plans to validate this release with Targus Universal Docking Stations or Targus Universal Docking Station Utilities.

Targus has posted the latest release 5.1 for all DisplayLink-based Targus Universal Docking Stations connecting to MacBooks with macOS Mojave (version 10.14) installed.

Thee DocKtor was asked if it was possible to render eight extended HD displays by using two of the award-winning Targus DOCK520 driven by a single host.  The client wanted to use a laptop to monitor eight security cameras each rendered on eight different display monitors. 

Universal Docking Targus’ Universal Docking Stations models DOCK1XX and ACP7X will function and perform to their individual specification when connected to the Surface Connect to USB-C Adapter.

Targus has finished all preliminary engineering testing of the Targus MAC Address Clone Utility version 1.01.021 for Windows.  It is now ready for security conscious enterprise customers to use in their environment.

Targus has posted the latest release 4.3.1 for all DisplayLink based Targus Universal Docking Stations connecting to macOS 10.13 "High Sierra" base...

Targus has finished all preliminary engineering testing of the Targus Ghost Device Removal Service version 2.00.004 for Windows 7 and Windows 10. 

Targus has validated the latest release version 8.6M0 (including Targus Universal Docking Station device drivers) for all DisplayLink-based Targus Universal Docking Stations on all version of Windows 7 and 10.
