Targus Universal Docking Station Training (Part 4 of 5)
In session four of the Targus docking station training series we’ll cover the DOCK520 and the DOCK570.
In the last session, we talked about the industry leading Targus universal docking station model DOCK190. In this session, we're going to talk about its big brother, the DOCK570. Basically, everything I talked about with the DOCK190, but with two more video heads enabling you to do four monitors at 4K resolution. We're also going to talk about the DOCK520.
Like the DOCK190, the DOCK570 can supply power to the host, whether it's USB type-C power or USB Type-A with power. It comes with a gigabit Ethernet Port; it has four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports in a Type-A form-factor, one in a Type-C form-factor. Also, a 3.5mm audio jack. All of these things you'll find also on the DOCK190 but where the DOCK570 is unique is it has two more sets of video ports, both HDMI and DisplayPort for the capability to do four monitors, all at 4K resolution.
The other quad video docking station that Targus makes is the Targus DOCK520. This is the docking station that won the CES Innovation Award in 2019. This docking station has a Type-C native video connection to the host but doesn't have power delivery. It's video performances four HD video monitors across four HDMI connections. Other than that, all the features and ports are the same as the DOCK570. Whether your customers are looking for a dual video solution or quad video solution, Targus has a universal docking station that also supplies universal power, whether it's on Type0-C or Type-A.
All of our docking stations have a VESA mount and can be mounted behind the monitor at the site for a clean desktop. All of them have a three-year warranty. And of course, all of them are supported globally from people like me.
In this session, we learn about the Targus quad video solutions. The DOCK570 with universal power and supporting for 4K videos and the DOCK520 supporting for HD videos.
