Wireless Connection Limited After Undocking

A customer has reported the wireless network connection becoming limited after undocking. This followed a move to a new building and an update of the 7.7M4 driver to a later version just prior to moving. This may be a one-off corruption of the packaged driver distributed to the users, or the distributed SOE, as we have not seen this elsewhere.
The registry key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\Config was found to be corrupted Due to this corruption, drvinst.exe was deleting the NIC card registry keys as it did not know which keys were valid (or invalid). The fix was to delete HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\Config and restart the PC. Don't forget to backup your registry before making any changes.
