Your Screen Is Being Observed, Not!
Some Targus customers have noticed a message on the top right side (see example above) of their screens stating,
“Your screen is being observed”
while using a Targus docking station for external display monitors. It appears on the MacBook lock screen but does not persist once a user logs in.
While this message can understandably cause concern and confusion, please note that Targus does not observe your display monitors, screens, or windows, and we certainly do not record any screen content.
